Short History
Vince McMahon bought Capitol Wrestling Corporation from his father Vincent James McMahon in 1982 and proceeded to build one of the top organisations in the US.
In 1985 Vince decided to do something new, he rented out over 100 arena's and charged people to watch Wrestlemania on giant screens, a pay-per-view. It was a huge gamble and it worked, it made Vince an Millionaire. Later Vince formed Titan Sports the parent company of WWF.
In recent months the WWF have been forced to change there name due to losing a court battle against WWF (World Wildlife Foundation). It is now known as WWE -World Wrestling Entertainment. He has also bought over his biggest rival The WCW and join the two wrestling companies to one. Due to the amount of talent and little air time wrestlers were getting the WWE made a roster split Smackdown and RAW. He appointed Eric Brishchoff as general manager of Raw and Stephanie McMahon as general manager of Smackdown! With old wrestlers coming back into the fold such as Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and Shawn Michaels, who knows what the future will hold for Vince, all I can say is I will keep you posted!
